Sensorik Sachsen (SenSa) works with a clear research, development, production or user reference in the field of sensor technology to get the sensor technology solutions of the future off the ground. Companies and research institutions are to be supported in the development and market launch of new sensor technology concepts. The focus is on cross-industry and cross-technology applications, e.g. for automated driving, for the implementation of Industry 4.0 principles in mechanical engineering and for medical technology.
SenSa connects the seven networks Automotive Suppliers Saxony (AMZ; consortium leader), Silicon Saxony (SiSax), Organic Electronics Saxony (OES), Competence Centre for Aerospace Saxony and Thuringia (LRT), Railway Technology Saxony (Rail Saxony), biosaxony (BioSax) and Innovation Network Mechanical Engineering Saxony (VEMAS). Sensorik Sachsen is a joint project within the framework of the programme of the State Ministry of Economics, Labour and Transport for the promotion of innovation clusters. This measure is co-financed by tax funds on the basis of the budget passed by the members of the Saxon state parliament.
